Vice-Chair News
In this time of transition and change and the reality of answering the question posed in the 2009-2010 Annual Report “Whither Broken Rites?" I find myself very thankful and appreciative of the immense amount of work undertaken by our Secretary, Sue. I am also indebted to Margaret, Jean, Rosemary, Chris and every single member of the committee who has supported our work together on your behalf.
I am mindful and heartened by the many appreciative comments made by members on the post-it notes from last year. I am glad some members feel they have moved on and say they do not need Broken Rites any more. However I wonder if they realize that perhaps there are some members who may need them now or later!! Somewhere amongst you is a budding worker?! Please think about it and how you might help Broken Rites to continue the mutual support and friendship we offer as well as the challenges and questioning we make to the handling of the serious problem of clergy marriage breakdown and its consequences.
My best wishes to our Members and to all who support us.
Barbara.
