April 2012                                              AGM Report 2011/12

Over the last year we have welcomed 6 new members.  One member has resigned. The total membership stands at 157.  127 are Church of England, six are other Anglicans and 24 are non Anglicans.  We have welcomed two new associate members so we have 29 associates.  Any membership fees I receive I pay in at my local bank and send the details to Jean.

I have now been membership secretary for 3 years and will be standing down March 2013, so could you get to grips with Microsoft Access Database or, if we can set up the mail merging system on Microsoft Excel, with that?  I had no idea how to do the records when I started but under Viv’s excellent support I have managed without too many mistakes so I’m sure someone else could learn.
