Summer Report 2009

Changing roles

I have been regional rep for the West Midlands for about 10 years. It has been a privilege to stand alongside brave ladies trying to step out  into a new life on their own. I have valued days out in several of our diocesan houses and have been grateful for the bishops who funded those days for us.  

Time moves us on and it is time for a new challenge. For one who has always been afraid of technology to take on Membership Secretary is a huge step for me. Yet we all grow through challenge.  

If you live in one of the dioceses in the West Midlands do consider offering to be a Link in your diocese or a Regional Rep. for the area.  You are there to support anyone who needs a listening ear. If you were helped by someone standing alongside you, could you do it for someone else?  I’m still here and willing to help anyone who is in need but it would be good for someone else to take on this role.  What is God asking you to do?
