Visit to the Isle of Wight

Five of us made our way to the Isle of Wight to visit Gill who lives in Cowes. We enjoyed  a delicious lunch, and admired Gill's garden before walking along the promenade. There were preparations being made for Cowes week which starts next week.

On the way back to the car, Gill's daughter kindly took this photo of everyone sitting in a beach shelter - out of the rain. it started pouring just as we reached our cars!

Previous Meeting at Emsworth

On Saturday 31st March, five of us met at the Crown Pub in the centre of Emsworth, near Chichester. We had lunch there before going for a short walk along the sea wall and shore.

We enjoyed watching many seabirds and swans and seeing the attractive harbour - looking its best in the sun. Then we cut back through residential streets to our cars.
