At our 2024 AGM held in April, Professor Lisa Oakley, from the University of Chester, shared, for the first time, her research findings on the pastoral care of clergy spouses around marital breakdown. It wasn’t cheery listening, yet many of us found it a joy to hear some of our difficult stories validated.
