We’re excited to be able to say that the leaflet giving info about Prof. Lisa Oakley’s research project has now been published. This is a concise, user-friendly summary of all the work put in by Lisa and her team, and by those of us who shared our stories as part of the study. It was presented by Lisa to the annual gathering of C of E “Bishop’s Visitors” (people nominated to support the spouses of clergy in marital breakdown), to give them an evidence-based picture of our situation and the challenges we face. The report gives four clear recommendations, which we really hope the church will take action on, at this time where clergy families are perhaps under more stress than ever.
